I am a population geneticist who leverages publicly available data to study meiotic recombination rate variation and it's impacts on evolution.

LyAndra A. Lujan

I am a PhD candidate in the Institute of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Oregon studying recombination rate variation through population-level genetic variation in crow species in the Singh lab. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Evolutionary Anthropology in 2019 where I focused on Population Genetics in the Long lab. I was a Post-Bacc in the Witt lab at the Museum of Southwestern Biology at UNM.
